It does make sense . The suns magnetic fields wind up tight Then basically snap.
But wouldn't the same happen on earth ? No because the sun is our center and anchor in space , we revolve around it. Our magnetic field cant get wrapped up because the suns megosphere over rides ours , basiclly keeping it bent, and blown off .
Now armed with this info. and a supposed cycle time, can it be correlated with the atlantic ridge magnetic strip reversals? Here is a pic of the ridge magnetic signiture with a crude time line . The black stripes are negitive polarity the white are positive polarity.
This is proof the earth has under gone MANY pole reversals.
I can not find a detailed geologic time line of the signitures . ( think tree rings here ) to see what events intersect these reversals. Is it a crust reversal, planet flop, , or just magnetic? The Wolly mamoths would say Hang on Fred , were going for a ride !
