Yes it is true that it can't hold that many people. Isn't it about 12 or 13 at the most ?

They'd run out of food and water so fast if the planet blew. And if it blew , the station would most likely be in the path of the explosion and get hit with debris.

Are they just up there watching The Changes taking place ? Polar Ice Caps melting of course I know for sure.

I wonder "WHO" else stops by the ISS and visits ?

The ISS's scrubbers are regularly replaced, and one CANNOT survive in space without gravity for an extended period...all these NWO people you speak of would be as weak as newborn kittens. Plus, the ISS is for research in space, it's a precursor to a space infrastructure, where we will have or own settlements either floating around the earth in the Lagrange points, or a colony on Mars to terraform it. The ISS is no lifeboat, and NASA is not the "devil's horns".

The space station is not a life boat. It's a fancy coffin!
Without orbit everything up there is going to come crashing down!
I would rather take my chances down here dodging bullets!
They're screwed up there, nothing they can do but have one hell of a ride down.
At least down here, they have to dodge my bullets!

Well if the planet Blows , there would be nothing for them to Fall down to. Except passing Debris as it floated By.

I wonder , just days prior to 2012 , How many Shuttles will launch ?
And the excuse for some many going up at one time ?

Who's on board them ?

I like to think its there to further man's exploration of space. I can think of no more rewarding thing for a man than to explore the universe some day.

I think it would be awesome to explore space. I'd like to see how far it goes , and if it stops , how far away is it , and is it like hitting a brick wall (Flat) or is there a curve to it.

Is there something on the other side of it ? What formed Space ? Something surely did .

Space is so beautifull on a clear night.

I always see the ISS fly over my place at 4:05 in the morning (on clear nights that is ).

That thing is so Huge and Bright* :D

I've used my son's telescope and can actually make out it's shapes. Kool to see.

Space is some 30 billion lightyears in diameter and still expanding... Enjoy exploring.

At its boundary it dissipates into a void of sheer white light, the purest form of energy and ever so deadly. It represents ALL that is not. Or ALL what is yet to become. In human context we would call this 'Nothing'... But that's a contradiction in terms.

Multiple Universes? Yes... From a physical point of view there should be more than just the one we know. Now since carbon is found to be in almost everything. I imagine the other Universes aligned in a grid-like spherical structure...

Image
Each red dot represents one (The 1 again!) universe. One such a structure is again part of a whole grid again... And whether you want it or not, like it or not... There's no escaping the value of 1... That's where it all starts... If that one was a zero '0', we wouldn't be sitting behind our puters...

International space station for exploration and experamentation? I think not. I have always wondered why we (USA) and all the other countries put so much money and effort into the international space station. I was watching a television show the other day about space and it just came to me. The space station is just a "life boat" for the diffulcult times ahead. The safest place to be would be space. It makes perfect sense.

I like your fortitude in thinking ahead, however, the ISS is not big enough to contain water and food to make that possible for extended stays in outer space. You also have to deal with radiation and such as well. On top of all that, there is no ferry craft to be left on the station to bring them down years down the road.

The station is far enough away from earth so it can be observed and watch the progress of the very few survivors. Then when it safe after who knows how many years, whoever is on the station will be able to return to earth. Who is going to be on the station to ride out 2012?? Not you and I!! Im sure it will be high power government officials, scientists, doctors and anyone else the government (NWO) feels appropriate.

You can certainly count on the "power elite" to save their sweet butts and forget about anyone else's.

Along with the people will come seeds, grains, eggs, and sperm, etc. No need to save a million people when you can save a billion in a test tube. I remember that they were always talking about the space station all the time. Here recently you rarely hear anything about it. This my be way off from the truth, tell me what you guys and gals think.

They are already stocking "seed banks" in the swiss alps and elsewhere and this has been going on for a while. Their secrets are OUT !!! Its time they CONFESS why they are doing all this preparation.

One good reason for seed banks that are seldom mentioned is to preserve species from GMO contamination. ConAgra, ADM, and other mega seed companies have patented many, many, food plants around the globe including third world countries. There are some good documentaries regarding these greedy practices that air from time to time on Channel 197 if you get DISHnetwork. GMO's are the required science of the day to produce drought tolerant, pest resistant, and high yield crops to feed the almost 7 billion mouths on the planet. Problem is the abundant yield comes with known and unknown health risks.

Roundup ready soybeans alone doubled soybean production (as did burning more of the Amazon rainforest to make bean fields in Brazil). It's today's reality. The Mexican farmers call the GMO corn, legal to grow by commercial farmers in Mexico for the first time this year) - Frankencorn. The same corn you and your children eat in all corn containing products. Unless you grow your own, or buy organic.

Mesoamerica, the birth place of hundreds of varieties of ancient maize are now succeptable to cross breeding and resultant genetic contamination.
