I wasn't able to make tonight. I'm hoping to go tomorrow. But for all of you who can't make it here it is. I haven't watched it yet so I don't know how the quality is. I'm trying very hard to hold out until tomorrow to see it on the big screen.

I thought it was the worst disaster movie i've ever seen. Cliche characters(which isn't unexpected), poor build up. And once the disasters start, its just them running away for like an hour straight. I thought the day after tommorow was a much better movie. It actually had buildup and suspense.

Also the acting in this movie was VERY poor. I don't know why though. Perhaps amanda pete was the only one to put on a good performance. Everyone else just showed up to make a buck with no amount of effort put into it. Note to big movie companies, Morgan Freeman is a good black president. Danny Glover is not.

I give this movie a 2 out of 5 and thats only because it gets 2 for the special effects. I believe the mindset behind this movie was to make it such a visual extravaganza, that people would completely overlook the fact that it sucked hard. I don't think they accomplished that.

I'm very dissapointed.

P.S. I really didn't care about the characters in this movie at all. They could have all died in the beginning and just followed around random characters for the rest and it wouldn't have changed anything.

I wanted for it to come to dvd and got for my birthday . I would give it 3 out of 5 stars . Special effects were good. With a movie title like 2012 , it would be difficult to have a story line. Although I thought all the kids did a good job.

I HATE CGI Stuff , I can Pick it out and that really Ruins the Movie*

After 2012 there will be no one left to make the movie LOL

I hope everyone owns a Cam-Corder and has them running. Charge your batterys and keep it handy.

Maybe a future generation will find all of them , install new batterys and can pop it in the dvd player and have one Heck of Show to look at.

My mom bought me 2012 on Thursday.

I watched this movie today - not that impressed really was it worth the wait on dvd ...nope .
