2012: Seeking Closure The
Movie
Coming Fall 2009 The film is set in 2012, only a few years away.
It is set in the affairs of today's social-economic
conditions; inflation, rising gas prices, economic
recession, political tyranny...anarchy.
The film opens in a mortgage firm, where loan
officers are meeting to discuss how to generate
business in the weak housing market. The loan
officers/employees are stressed and are advised
to produce or else. There will be several flashback
scenes that will reveal our main characters'
horrible past and another scene of a couple argues
as the man rejects marriage, in another we see
kids play in a playground playing to suggest
life without stress and other significant montage
scenes. This movie is perfect for the times we're
living in today. We have been conditioned to
value our occupational status and means to survive,
material wealthy, gluttony, etc. We've become
a selfish-polarized society, jaded and apathetic
to the morals/virtues that are innate to man....substance,
compassion, genuineness for ourselves and our
fellow man, our families, wives, husband and
children, etc
However, would our attitudes in this fast-paced,
technological society be the same if we were
in the final 3 hours of our lives; if we knew
it were coming to an end?
In 2012 the end of the world is suppose to happen.
This may not happen or be true, but 2012 is significant
for a reason amongst ancient history, astrology
and astronomy, even metaphysically.
